Privacy Policy

TipLog is a shift-tips and effective-hourly logbook that runs entirely on your iPhone. It has no accounts, and it collects no personal data about you.

What we collect

Nothing. TipLog does not collect personal data. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking or data brokers. TipLog uses no third-party SDKs and makes no network requests of its own beyond the App Store purchase and, if you turn it on, your own private iCloud sync — we do not know who you are or how you use the app.

Where your data lives

Every shift you log — date, hours, cash and card tips, tip-out, notes — is stored in TipLog's private storage on your iPhone. It is never uploaded to us.

TipLog requests no permissions at all — no camera, no notifications, no contacts, no location.

If you unlock Full Export and turn on iCloud sync, your shifts sync through your own private iCloud database, encrypted and controlled entirely by Apple under your Apple Account — not by us. Sync is off by default and optional. If you have iCloud Backup enabled for your device, your local TipLog data may also be included in your personal encrypted Apple backup, again handled entirely by Apple.

In-app purchase

TipLog offers a single one-time purchase, Full Export, which unlocks tax-year CSV/PDF export, a Home Screen widget and iCloud sync. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit; TipLog does not see or store your payment information.

Children

TipLog is a general-audience utility app and is not directed at children. It collects no data from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, we will post the updated version on this page with a new date. Since the app collects no personal data, any change is expected to be minor.
