Privacy Policy

PrayerList has no accounts and no analytics. What you write stays on your devices and in your own iCloud. If you link a contact, PrayerList copies only that person's name and photo into your prayer list so it can show them without asking for your address book again.

What we collect

Nothing. PrayerList does not collect personal data. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics SDK, no advertising, and no third-party tracking. We do not know who you are or how you use the app. App Privacy on the App Store lists PrayerList as "Data Not Collected".

Where your data lives

Every request, schedule, prayer log, answer and journal entry you create is stored privately on your device, and syncs — if you are signed in to iCloud — through your own private CloudKit database. We never see it, and it is never sent to our servers, because PrayerList makes no network requests other than to Apple's iCloud and App Store services.

If iCloud is unavailable — you are signed out, or sync fails to start — PrayerList keeps working entirely offline on your device, and nothing you have already written is lost.

Contacts

Linking a request to a contact opens the system contact picker, which returns only the single contact you choose; PrayerList is never granted access to your full address book. That contact's name and a thumbnail of their photo are then copied into your prayer list, so PrayerList can show them next to the request without asking for your address book again. Removing the link deletes that copy.

Notifications

If you turn on the daily reminder, PrayerList schedules one local notification on your device at the time you choose, using iOS's own notification system. There is no push server and no account — the reminder never leaves your iPhone.

Purchases

The one-time PrayerList Unlimited unlock is handled entirely by Apple's StoreKit. We do not receive your payment details, and no purchase or account information is sent to us.

Children

PrayerList is a general-audience app and is not directed at children. It collects no data from anyone, regardless of age.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, we will post the updated version on this page with a new date. Since the app collects no personal data, any change is expected to be minor.
