Privacy Policy

NowDone is built to help you focus, calmly and privately. The app runs on your device, has no accounts, and collects no personal data about you.

What we collect

Nothing. NowDone does not collect personal data. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking or data brokers. We do not know who you are or how you use the app.

Where your data lives

Every task, event, and reminder you create is stored in NowDone's private storage on your iPhone. The app and its home-screen widget share this data through a private app group on your device; it is never uploaded to us or anyone else.

If you have iCloud Backup enabled for your device, your NowDone data may be included in your personal encrypted Apple backup, under your control through your Apple account. This is handled entirely by Apple, not by us.

Voice capture & speech recognition

When you capture a task by voice, NowDone uses your microphone only while you are actively recording, and it uses Apple's built-in Speech Recognition to turn what you say into text. Where your device supports it, this transcription happens on your device. On devices or in situations where on-device recognition is unavailable, the audio is sent to Apple to be converted to text — this is a standard iOS system service, described in the permission prompt iOS shows you, and governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

NowDone itself does not keep your voice recordings. Once your speech has been transcribed, only the resulting text is saved — as the task, event, or reminder you created. We do not send your microphone audio or your tasks to our own servers; NowDone makes no network requests of its own.

Reminders & notifications

If you allow notifications, NowDone schedules reminder notifications locally on your device using iOS's notification system. There is no push server and no account — the reminders never leave your iPhone.

Children

NowDone is a general-audience productivity app and is not directed at children. It collects no data from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, we will post the updated version on this page with a new date. Since the app collects no personal data, any change is expected to be minor.
