Quiet Room is built to be a private, trustworthy record of your migraine attacks. The app runs on your device, has no accounts, and collects no personal data about you.

What we collect

Nothing. Quiet Room does not collect personal data. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking or data brokers. We do not know who you are or how you use the app.

Where your data lives

Every attack, trigger, symptom, medication and note you record is stored in Quiet Room's private storage on your iPhone. It is never uploaded to us or anyone else.

If you have iCloud Backup enabled for your device, your Quiet Room data may be included in your personal encrypted Apple backup, under your control through your Apple account. This is handled entirely by Apple, not by us.

Health data

If you choose to connect Health from an attack's Health context section, Quiet Room reads your sleep hours and menstrual cycle data from Apple Health to show alongside that attack. This access is read-only — Quiet Room never writes to Health — and the numbers it reads are shown only on your device. They are never sent to us, to Apple, or to anyone else.

In-app purchase

Quiet Room offers one optional, one-time purchase that unlocks the PDF attack report. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple's App Store and StoreKit; Quiet Room never sees your payment details, and no purchase data is sent to us.

The PDF report and CSV export

The report and CSV file Quiet Room can generate are built from your own data, entirely on your device, and are shared only when you choose to share, print or save them yourself — through the standard iOS share sheet.

Children

Quiet Room is a general-audience health-logging app and is not directed at children. It collects no data from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, we will post the updated version on this page with a new date. Since the app collects no personal data, any change is expected to be minor.
