CarLog is a fuel and service logbook that runs entirely on your iPhone. It has no accounts, and it collects no personal data about you.

What we collect

Nothing. CarLog does not collect personal data. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking or data brokers. CarLog makes no network requests of its own, and we do not know who you are or how you use the app.

Where your data lives

Every vehicle, fill-up, service record, receipt photo and reminder you create is stored in CarLog's private storage on your iPhone. It is never uploaded to us or anyone else.

If you have iCloud Backup enabled for your device, your CarLog data may be included in your personal encrypted Apple backup, under your control through your Apple account. This is handled entirely by Apple, not by us.

Camera & photo library

CarLog can use your camera, or your photo library, so you can attach a receipt photo to a service record or a photo to a vehicle. These photos are saved only in CarLog's local storage on your device, exactly like the rest of your records — never uploaded anywhere.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, CarLog schedules reminder notifications locally on your device using iOS's notification system. There is no push server and no account — reminders never leave your iPhone.

In-app purchase

CarLog offers a single one-time purchase to unlock CarLog Garage (unlimited vehicles, import and PDF export). Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit; CarLog does not see or store your payment information.

Children

CarLog is a general-audience utility app and is not directed at children. It collects no data from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, we will post the updated version on this page with a new date. Since the app collects no personal data, any change is expected to be minor.
